His first bath! he loved it....

Hurray little Simon is born the 24th at 01:10, he is doing super and is a very content little boy with lots of hair! The delivery was quick, 5 hours. Simon is very good for us and allready has a nice rythm of drinking his bottle every 3 1/2 to 4 hours and sleeps almost trough the night. He wakes up only once. Wessel and Sven are so proud of their little brother, kisses and hugs for him troughout the day.

Only 4 days old, he either sleeps, eats or lays with mom. On the fourth day we layed him in his play penn and he enjoys being around us with the noices and his brothers he's doing GREAT

Only a few minutes old. The midwife layed him down in the position he had in my belly, he was straight away quit...

Sweet dreams for Simon!

It's a joy having him and it completes our family!

Also in Alphen aan de Rijn were my brother Alexander lives Sint cam to bring presents.

My sister in law is expecting the 27 of december so that is in 5 days from now.

Stijn our nephew could a crane. He played with it the whole afternoon.

The 5th of december is Sinterklaas, and ofcourse he cam also for a short visit at the school of Wessel and Sven. Sven had a short rime which he read for the Sinterklaas.

From the left to the right, Alexander & Irene, who was pregnant at the time. They got a little boy, Stijn. Irene is now pregnant again and is due the 27th of december!

Next to Irene is Michel with his daughter Michelle. He is the youngest brother.

Erwin & I plus Wessel and Sven. Next to erwin is his brother and very good friend Vincent with his youngest son Tygo and his wife Judith. In the last 2 years they got 2 more children. Suuz and Nina. Nina is born just recenty in september! and Carin and my brother Farice with their daughter Louise.

For our wedding pictures we had a few locations, the wood and also an old traditional train.

It was really really hot that day, and the children and erwin and I were glad the photo shoot was at an end after a while. But the pictures turned out wonderfull!!

Another big roll was bringing the rings, ofcours one of the rings fell off the little pillow and bounced through the church, Just how it is supposed to be with children. We enjoyed this moment. It was so pure and real just how we both felt that day!

The ceremony in chucrh ment alot for me. Together with Erwin we looked for all the songs etc.

At that point a joined the church choir so it was very nice to hear some of the song from the other side. Wessel and Sven had to bring the rings and openend the ceremony by lighting candles.

Our first stop was city hall, wich was just recently opened. We were the 2nd couple to get married in the new building. Everybody looked beautifull that day. Wessel and Sven were also allowed to sign their names as prove that we are now married. They had ofcourse an important rol that day wich they both filled in just perfectly!

In the early morning erwin, wessel and Sven left home to get dressed at his parents house. My mom came to our house to help me get dressed for the day. The boys cloths were made by a colleque from my mom, as she is working in a bridal shop!

01-07-2006 OUR WEDDING DAY

It was exactly 15 years ago when Erwin and I kissed for the very first time, since then alot has happend. studies, our first house, our first son was born in 2001, Wessel and Sven in 2003.
I started my own company, erwin grew in his work. After almost 3 years we decided to quit with the company, and so a turbulent period was closed. Erwin suprised me when he asked me to marry him. It was a beautifull day that we shared with all our loved ones but most important with our two precious boys. The wether was just beautifull, 32 degrees, and the location great.
We invited 40 close friends and family with their children (20 in total) and had a reception in the late afternoon where we had 230 people. My dad gave me away in church and the boys brought the wedding rings, a day to never forget!

After we came home from a scary route through the woods, the kids watched a Halloween movie.
Erwin tried to scare them one more time, I was glad I could sit down with my belly, who is growing bigger now!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

This is not a tradition thing in Holland, You do see people decorating their houses a bit more, but Sinterklaas the 5th of december is still rulling.

We decided to through a Halloween party anyway, and it was a succes. Wessel could invite some of his friends, we dressed up and had of fun evening........

Wessel and sven were looking for all kind of sea animals. Like little fish and sea stars.
Sven got his pants wet so he took them off. He really loves the sea and freedom.

And of september we invited my mom and dad for a weekend away for my dad 60th birthday wich he celebrated in may of this year. It was a very nice weekend and we were very lucky to have beautifull wether. The children even played in the sea.
We went to Bruinisse a town in Zeeland, at sea. Wessel and sven enjoyed the weekend with grandma and grandpa. We saw Neeltje Jans , went to the beach, played games and midgetgolf and enjoyed the nice food my mom made for us. True relaxing

24th of august 2007 we moved in our new house just before sven's 4th birthday.
This year we had our first Annual street BBQ. It was a big succes.
In our street we have over 30 children in the age of 0 and 15, most of them are between 3 and 7 years old.

Sven celebrated his birthday last august the 26th. It was a very nice warm day and his teacher changed him into a little dangerous crocodile. All our friends and family came to eat cake and bring nice presents
